As you may recall, we're still in the process of creating our new site layout of XboxPolis.com, which temporarily closes our the site until we open the new one. So, progress report?

We got the design done, pretty much. Now we're adding articles and pages. Not much is done, but we just want to get it over with and start posting news. Anyway, nothing much is really going on around that area.

Wiki Xbox 360
As you may recall, we announced that the XboxPolis.com WIKI won't really exist, but we did announce a new version of it. There is currently a wiped out Wetpaint site known as Wiki Xbox 360, which is now accessible through http://wikixbox360.com/ or http://wikixbox360.xboxpolis.com/. The site still gets a lot of threads, but lacks all page updates. Unfortunately, I, USKB, could not be an admin there due to the amount already there. Still Yet, I was lucky enough to become moderator, and have admin capabilities through Wetpaint, except I have to contact them every time I want something changed. We plan to do a lot for the site, so stay tuned, and follow Wiki Xbox 360 on Twitter.

So. We bring you experiences.
First dubbed in the middle of 2009, the New XboxPolis.com Experience is finally becoming reality. On Wednesday, December 30th, 2009, USKB (me) began building the new site. Surely enough, I suck at it so far. But, in better terms, we actually got a lot accomplished considering I started late, which was around 5PM EST. The basic parts of the site are up, mainly graphical; which all included is backgrounds, headers, links, link-locked images, and a few more stuff. I can't say today was a great accomplishing day, but hey. We've got it down, meaning that, the account. We have absolutely no clue what to do really. So, that January 2010 date may not seem realistic to you, but I should be able to pull it off. Until then, I've been messing around with the domain, so you may get a hint or two at what the site is going to look like; by accessing it at http://www.xboxpolis.com/. Also, I want to add that ALL subdomains are more than likely to be down 98% of the time, due to all the changes. In gratitude to your reading, we're giving you a list of the URL's that you may not know (w/out the '.xboxpolis.com')

A Goodbye to 09.

As we approach an exit of the year of 2009, we look back of what we got in gaming...

Halo 3: ODST = Good, not what we expected.
CoD: Modern Warfare 2 = Very Good, but seriously hackers and glitchers- can't you just play the game?
Assassin's Creed 2 = The Repeat is Over.
Forza Motorsport 3 = Vroom is good.
Batman: Arkham Asylum = meh.
Left Four People for Dead Two (Left 4 Dead 2) = Blowing up zombies is pretty hot, even with the absence of Zoey in the game (excluding newest DLC)
Dragon Age: Origins = That's a game, right? But it's by BioWare.

That's our (in)valid breakdown of the year 2009. We expect much out of you 2010. That means you Halo: Reach, Mass Effect 2 (also by BioWare), Dark Void, Bioshock 2, Army of Two: The 40th Day, Dante's Inferno, Bad Company 2, and Bayonetta. Do good, or we kill you.

The New XboxPolis.com Experience
We've been dubbin' it for months.
So, we've now taken a vow to stop gaming news and reviews on XboxPolis.com. Until the NXPE opens. Yeah. What is it? We barely know ourselves. We begin building December 27th, 2009, and then we expect to open within middle January, earlier, hopefully. It's mainly just the move and more complex site situation of XboxPolis.com, and it WILL bring in some good stuff. We'll release some screenshots along the way via Twitter and TwitPic, so follow us. We demand it.

We'll be delivering some awesome stuff soon, and ACTUAL GAME NEWS! Coming soon.

Questions about Halo 3: ODST at #1?
If you were smart enough to figure out what you got, you not only got a great campaign and Firefight experience, you also got Halo: Reach beta (beta comes Spring 2010), which we all think will be awesome, and you also got Halo 3. The whole multiplayer experience, with around $30 in DLC. So, although ODST was an overall disappointment to usual multiplayer lovers- you know, the guys who just play the game for the multiplayer, not even gonna click the button to play the campaign? (ehm, CoD players?). Yeah, those guys didn't like ODST, but the campaign was excellent, and you literally got around $50-60 bucks in DLC and Halo 3, and the Reach beta is the only way to get it (through the purchase of ODST.)

Infinity Ward presented us with CoD4, which seemed make kids under the age of 18 masturbate often. But no, seriously, Infinity Ward delivered it with CoD4, and when MW2 came around, this was probably one of the only games that really went beyond, and gave us a better, improved experience, which games seem to lack in sequels. Overall, MW2's multiplayer is good, excluding some current glitches with its new engine, and of course of it being new. The MW2 campaign was excellent, and Special Ops seems to deliver a nice time-waster.
Second Place: Left 4 Dead 2 (Developed by Valve Software, Published by Electronic Arts)
Third Place: Halo 3: ODST (Developed by Bungie, Published by Microsoft Game Studios)

Dear Users,
We're currently experiencing some site issues due to the Wetpaint Editor. As it seems to be, XP's editor is having issues, but Halo Fan Wiki has absolutely no issues. We're looking into this, but we are possibly looking into posting the Game of the Year 2009 Awards here on our blog, or possibly delaying it to the release of the New XboxPolis.com Experience. We cannot give you any exact info, but If it continues, this blog will become the our GOTY 09 awards home, and it will also require less formatting, which is something we could REALLY lean towards. We hate tables now. They Suck. Anyway, follow us via Twitter for latest updates on it.

UPDATE : 12/19/09

The site's editor seems to be working fine, but now we are still most likely to post GOTY Awards' Round 4 and 5 (Finals) on the blog, simply because of time. We also want to point out that several spam labels and more have appeared on XboxPolis.com, as of today, December 19th, 2009. The spam/malware just seems to pop-up in the same window that XboxPolis was in (removing XP from visual, just opens up a new site in the same tab), and we're contacting Wetpaint about this. Luckily, my Norton AntiVirus came in and did work. Anyway, be aware, but remember- no ads like that will happen in the NXPE, coming this January 2010. As right now, this ad may just be happening every now and then, not all the time. So, continue browsing XboxPolis.com and thanks for your patience.

Nothing To Regret.
Remember when we updated commonly, and actually delivered news posts, which only occurred like twice? Yeah, those days are gone, and will be gone until Early January 2010. Currently, USKB, site owner and third-person writer of blog posts, is setting off the stages of the New XboxPolis.com Experience, which is again to release in Early January next year. We haven't started the building point yet, but we're getting everything finalized to do so; the building should occur this late December 2009. So, upon these circumstances, we are guaranteeing literally no updates on the XboxPolis.com WIKI (current site found at http://xboxpolis.com) until the opening of the #NXPE. We want to make sure that you know that this DOES NOT DELAY THE GAME OF THE YEAR AWARDS. Those will be the updates occurring at this moment. Otherwise, Shippin' Out This Week, Top 10 of the WEEK, and more will not be updated. I strongly suggest you check out our Twitter profile for constant updates, and that will be the only possible way you'll get gaming news from us for right now. Okay, so we've all seen the VGA's now, right? Right. Who saw the Halo: Reach trailer? Yeah, we did too. It was pretty beast. Do we recommend watching it various times? Yeah.

Halo: Reach, Bungie's so-called "Final Halo Project," is based within the fall of Reach, where Covenant forces take over, and do stuff. Anyway, according to a source that told GameSpot, the game is supposed to bloody, and more "Gears of War-like." More brutal, and more war-like, which the Halo franchise has lacked in past editions. At the end of the Halo: Reach Trailer #2, which is the World-Premiere that everyone saw at the Video Game Awards 2009 on SPIKE, it shows an Elite, or some of you know also as (the character of) Arbiter, even though that wasn't Arby. Anyway, shows him with an Energy Sword, then shows him babbling out in the air, also revealing blood under him, which easily signifies a more brutal type of gameplay, considering most Halo trailers are more drama-like, and just show some cool cinematic stuff, usually without much warfare. In conclusion, this game is gonna kick some @$$.

Game of the Year 2009 is here, and we've already got the first rounds up; round 1, and round 2. Round 1 includes some in-game specifications, and some other stuff, like "Coolest Game." Round 2 consists of 3 Winners, that being "Best Developer," "Best Publisher," and "Best Engine." We hope to announce the official game of the year around December 17th or 18th, 2009. Otherwise, two more rounds come before the finals, which is the Game of the Year announcement. Here are the links:

Seems like all the dual-wield shotgunners are getting some luck now, and that makes us pretty pissed. But, some major glitches are appearing on MW2, and seems like every time something comes out new, such as an update, it screws up another thing. So, in short terms....fix it Infinity Ward.

This Week, GameTrailers, Bungie, and Spike Television announced that Halo: Reach, the so-called last Halo project by developer Bungie, will get its first real reveal during the Video Game Awards (VGA) on Spike TV, which is December 12th, 2009 @ 8 PM EST. So, we care, as you should too. May we also include a new 2K Games' shooter, which has a beautiful no title. We'll see that reveal there too.

As announced before, XP will become very prone to news, unlike our current roots. If we see it, we'll write it. Of course with reviews, maybe dipping in some Xbox LIVE Arcade reviews, we can finally get down to biz. As we have now, we will have messaging and profiles. The profiles have a spot where you fill in your address. I highly suggest that you don't fill that in, unless you want me knocking on your front door. We are maybe looking for a replacement on that little extention. We're also gonna have comments, and maybe a discussion forum, but that's what we want the XboxPolis.com WIKI for. The comments will be like any other comments on any other gaming site, leave it there, never respond back. We are also partnering with Amazon.com in their Assocciate Program. Why? We can open up a store that looks like XboxPolis.com, sell some Xbox 360 crap, and get us some pocket change. Not saying this as official, but this is seriously being considered. We've got many things coming up this week, and one that already is here. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the game that people would trample Walmart greeters to get, finally makes its review debut on XboxPolis.com, with two reviews! Isn't it amazing? USKB, which would be me, and CurseShooter, who you should know, each wrote reviews today on the game. Both are valid, long, an awesome. But, honestly, if you haven't bought the game yet, just go fall in hole.

We've also got a new Sprout widget up on the homepage, it's awesome. It's a Xbox 360 Dashboard-styled widget, for all of you smart ones out there. It's sweet, admit it.

Anyway, we've got an upcoming review, from once again CurseShooter, Assassin's Creed 2. So. Yeah. There you go. Then we got an upcoming review by me, which will be Left 4 Dead 2 and Forza Motorsport 3; and yes, we are leaving out NBA 2K10 and Borderlands, sadly. That's it for reviews.

Now we move onto The Game of the Year Awards 2009, also known as "GOTY." This is the first time XboxPolis.com will be doing such an event, and will include a lot of categories. Not as much as GameSpot, or something like that, but we have a lot. So be prepared, comes out within this month hopefully. Why so early? Because there's literally no good games that come out after this month. Besides 2010, but you know, that's 2010.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) finally released this week, and damn, is it good. Considering the Most Anticipated Game of the Year, and considering it sold 4.7 Million Copies in 24 hours, is not surprising, but it really shows how big the world is in the dumbass state. Just kidding, it's the best game of the year in my opinion. Anyway, expect the review Modern Warfare 2 review up on the Thirteenth, or Fourteenth of November, which is Friday, or Saturday. November 11th, 2009 was Veteran's Day, and we were unable to rightfully respect our troops, mainly meaning on the American side of this site, because we ARE American. Well, we want to thank every troop, soldier, veteran- Anyone who has served in the Armed Forces, or anything within Military, Army, Air Force- whatever-because they've given their lives to us, and we take them for granite everyday, and nobody can deny it. As a true American citizen, I'm obligated to say that we're doing the right thing in the Middle East. Every war we have gone through, we've never done something wrong, mainly meaning the decisions on going to war, and staying for however so long. Our brothers, sisters, cousins, relatives, friends, and strangers have done it all, and I was unfortunate enough to truly thank them for what they've done. May all of them return safe, and may everyone who has unfortunately passed during warfare, or has been able to return back where they can be safe, have the best of their lives, as much as it is hard. Earlier this month, and later last month, we announced the "First Annual Shopping Guide." Well, through tough decisions, and kinda hard work at first, we have officially decided to stop the Holiday Shopping Guide 2009. This again, was extremely tough to do, but we don't have enough time on our hands to work on such a large progress, especially with the New XboxPolis.com Experience coming up around January 10th, 2010. A few reasons why we're doing this is right here: 1.) We don't have time on our hands. 2.) It hasn't been pulling up any page/site visits, even with Twitter spam. 3.) Did we mention no time?

This will be removed from XP, and will be uncatigorized. You can still visit it by searching it though. By next year, we should be able to do it, and we apologize for any inconvinece this does to you. Next year, it will be considered the "First Annual," as well, that is...if we can do one.

In attempts to attract poor Gears of War players, we think this is kinda of stupid, but kinda cool. We (I) haven't had much time 3rd Person Shooters, so I would probably suck at it, but hey. As long as I can pull out my M4 Carbine on your ass and not have to "watch" it from another person's view, we're good with it.

After we decided to project the release date of the NXPE, we honestly didn't realize that we'd only have around 5-10 days to set it up, and with Christmas coming, we can't do that very well. So, don't expect it on its slated date, (January 1st, 2010), expect it around January 10th, 2010. Sorry, but "that is how we roll." No, this mainly due to the transfer and small edits to the site. We've been talking about this whole "New XboxPolis.com Experience" thing for a damn good amount of time, and honestly...we're getting to the point of doing it. Within about 2 months and 15 days, we will be opening (as we know of, January 1st, 2010) the New XboxPolis.com Experience. Well, first...we've got some news that won't be in your interest. Over the course of today, Madusha, who's been telling me crap when I need to know it about Joomla! (our Website provider, not the hoster) announced on his Wiki (http://wiki.youremgn.com/) that LunarPages, who is his host and was going to be ours, had temperaily blocked, or just down-timed his site for no real apparent reason. So, after this happened, I decided to go in my wonderful little world again, and check out new hosters. Turns out, I picked one. This one being FatCow. Around the same cost overall (cheaper at first), and unlimited crap, all that good stuff. So, this will be our to-be hosting service unless told otherwise by us. Damn rite. Anyway, there's only one problem to their service. The whole damn company is ran on Wind Power (Eco, dammit), but there seems to be 99.68978 of uptime, the remaining portion being the downtime. Now, if you ask me, If Madusha's site is going down, I don't see Al Gore's Machine keeping me alive via internet. We will have a NXPE page on XP very shortly. Abbrv. that, bitch. With Joomla!, we plan to use extensions and modules that will help the site considerably, and Joomla! is more of a website-based site, unlike a blog. Also, we'd like to announce our upcoming Halo Fan Wiki, available conveniently at http://halo.wetpaint.com/ or http://halo.xboxpolis.com/, will be delayed (opening) until AFTER the release of the New XboxPolis.com Experience and the updates of the XboxPolis.com Wiki. So, probably wondering what's happening throughout the rest of 2009. Obviously we cannot plan accordingly, but we can tell you what we plan to do. Mainly in the list, is major events.

First, we'd like to start off the probably most obvious one, The New XboxPolis.com Experience. NXPE (New XboxPolis.com Experience) is an event in which the regular site of "XboxPolis.com," which is currently hosted by the free community hoster, Wetpaint, will be moving onto a regular HTML-based site, using Joomla!. The change includes a whole new design and advertisement-free (not official) environment, making XboxPolis.com jump to the next level in Xbox-related (Video) Gaming Journalism. We made this decision when we were honestly tired of looking at advertisements, and wanted to break free from limited accessibility, mainly meaning HTML and coding, which is why we change our Blog looks ever so often. And, we've always wanted a kind-of flash site, to where it was flash, but had no Adobe crap in it. Just regular images, with effects which I still don't know how to use. And considering we change our thoughts about the templates we picked and changed, we need customization. This event is to take place in December 2009 / Early 2010; our current slated release date is January 1st, 2009, but we are expecting a delay to as late as January 10th, 2009, mainly due to the fact that we're new to it all. We plan it won't take longer than the 10th of January, so sit back and enjoy the time until the release.

Also, many (1 person) are (is) asking if we will keep the regular Wetpaint site. As told in previous blog posts, this is a yes. We will keep the XboxPolis.com site on Wetpaint, but we will experience many changes in the Wetpaint site, or which we will refer to it as "Community Site." First, we have no plans of updating the Wiki within about a month's time after the release of the NXPE, we'll probably be too busy on the regular new HTML site. We plan to keep XboxPolis.com Wiki as more of a discussion-based or community-based site, including FAQ's for Xbox 360, Questions, Answers, all that good stuff, but also to promote the new site. When the new site releases, we will set up links to the Wiki at: http://wiki.xboxpolis.com/ and http://community.xboxpolis.com/. You can see a Joomla! HTML site here, this one being YourEMGN, a gaming journalism site created by what we come to know as "Madusha."

This "update" is to present many new options, mainly including a better setup. Some new features is video pages, moar news articles, long-ass reviews/previews, and many links to many stuff. That's just part of the fun, but we still are in the thinking process.

Second, we'd like to get into further detail on the XboxPolis.com Winter Shopping Guide, which is to be hosted by our own mascot, Baldy Strofferings, an eagle who'll kicks and eats n00b ass for...ever. Not breakfast, not lunch, not dinner...he eats it and kicks it all the time. Yeah, that's right bitches. Anyway, Baldy is to come out to Parents, and tell them what to buy, pretty much. One thing very notable in this 'Shopping Guide' is the additions of all gaming systems and electronics. So, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft will be there, even other electronics you've probably never heard of. Considering, other stuff will probably be TV's cool gadgets, and other crap, but we're trying to stay in the Gaming circle. We plan to have age groups, probably like this:

Ages 3-5
Ages 6-11
Ages 12-14
Ages 15+

Of course this isn't official, but expect something exactly like this, or something near it. We pick, you fart on our asses. We also want to tell you parents and people reading this, that the guide will be clean and very family-oriented, nothing to worry about my dear friends. Let's just say it's the opposite of what the blog usually says, which is usually Perverted, lyrical, dumb-assness, retarded, non-sense making, and yeah. All that good stuff. This is a blog, not a website, just remember. It's a blog FOR A WEBSITE ("Ohhh! I didn't know that!"). You can expect this big baby up around Late October.

Considering this is a f***ing huge lineup, this will be starting around...now (for us). But for you...probably around November 15th, 2009, mainly because of the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is around that date (November 10th, 2009), and we all know that MW2 could be a Game of the Year winner, but who knows? That's the fun. The Game of The Year Event should end around the end of 2009. Which is easier known as December 31st, 2009. Dumbass.

One thing missing is community voting, where you guys get to vote. We just don't have enough population to do such a thing, so it would be a pretty big landslide towards one game, usually. We plan to have community voting next year.

BALDY WINTER SHOPPING GUIDE: Baldy has been gone for a while, working at his other site, Anti-Universal Health Care, so he decided to drop on by the 'polis and work out a deal. We will be having a kick-ass Winter Shopping Guide, which will mainly be based torwards parents, showing them the big hype of the year, and what their kids REALLY want. One thing different, is that we will included ALL eletronics, which WILL include other gaming systems other than the Xbox 360. We will tell you what the kids want from Santa, and where to get it. Such things as TV's to PSPGo's, to Xbox 360 consoles, to Wii's, to camera's, to computers- You name it! We will have it! All in order in "want-tage." We plan to start this in Late October/Early November, for all you eager shoppers. Just don't trample anybody for that Guicci Sweater.

So, we've been all the hype talking about Halo 3: ODST, so you've heard. But, this leads us to our newest announcement. We will be opening up a Halo Fan Wiki (cleverly named, we know!), which can be found at http://halo.xboxpolis.com/ or http://halo.wetpaint.com/. We decided to this when we found out we're kinda like Bungie in a way, in their actions, and because we seem to love Halo. Nothing wrong with that, right? Anyway[1], this site is still obviously in the process of creation, so don't get pissy. We'll keep giving you updates through XboxPolis.com's Twitter, and Halo Fan Wiki's Twitter. That's really it from this standpoint, so yeah. On to the next subject.

ODST Firefight "Fun"
We Play with you, you play with us.
So, wanna have some fun? We've decided to start community "playdates" (ewww) where you compete against you. Currently, our calender is set up for Halo 3: ODST Firefight. The current dates aren't entirly set up, so, again, get the info from Twitter. We really suck at video games, but we know how to play them correctly, so don't be all sunshine and butterfly kisses when we lose and you win. If we ever play in Call of Duty 4, we really suck at that game, so...there's no doubt you'll beat us in CoD4. But, in Halo....we're pretty good. By the way, we choose randomly, or ask you, what we would wanna do in Firefight. We can either play competitive or together as a team, you can tell us. We also request you don't be a dumbass, like shooting us, making loud-ass noises in the microphone, and send us multiple messages and friend requests. The Rise, and Big-Ass Fall of XboxPolis.com For Temporary Reasons We Don't Seem To Understand.
Well, we understood that Wetpaint didn't like us, but not this far. Seems like after I was renaming the homepage to be: "XP | No nos hagan una patada en el culo," which stands for "Don't make us kick your ass" in Spanish. No kidding, that was exactly what I was renaming the page to be, in celebration of Halo 3: ODST's release, which is September 22nd, 2009, which is today for all you late readers. "Don't make us kick your ass" is currently one of the most used motto's at Bungie, and is almost their official slogan, but of course, we don't like Wikipedia, since they don't like us either. A lot of places that are Wikis hate us, and we don't understand why.

Anyway, the issue is that somehow after the renaming, the site got all screwed up, and now the only page that comes up is the "Oops!" page by Wetpaint, which says "Email us or visit homepage" and other stupid stuff of that sort. Obviously we can't update. And since we have no control over stuff like this, Wetpaint better help off our asses. Anyway, we hope to get the site up and running with the pushy-ness tor wards WP by us. Otherwise, we'll let you know via Twitter and this Blog when we are up and running once more. Not our fault, we blame HTML. Even though HTML Rulez D00d. Anyway, join us when we annoy you on Twitter.

So, we decided to drop the latest and greatest on this "New XBOXPolis.Com Experience" thing. We've narrowed it down with many problems, and we'll give you the remaining problems first. Well, to start off with, we, meaning USKB, has no moola, so that's honestly the main reason why this thing didn't release as the expected release date told you. No worries, by the time we decide to do it, we'll have the money under the table. Some other problems remain are support from our host-er, and just us not being smart enough to get used to new stuff.

So, let us drop the awesome-ly great news. We have decided not just to definitely do this whole thing, but we have a current slated release date, this one being reasonable. Like our $30 dollar domain purchase for 3 months, this $200 website hosting of $24 months, OUR OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE OF THE NEW XBOXPOLIS.COM EXPERIENCE IS JANUARY 1st, 2009. Yeah, it sounds like we're cheap, but money grows on trees, and falls' always around when you least suspect it (we don't get it either). So, yeah. That is the official date of the release of the so-called "New XBOXPolis.Com Experience."

Oh, and let me remind you, we Will Keep the Formal Spelling of 'XBOXPolis.Com' as our "formal" name, but 'xboxpolis.com' will still most likely be your spelling, unless we make the change to "Xboxpolis.Com" or XboxPolis.Com." We kinda like the second one, but it makes the name seem large. So Yeah, the current logo, the Bolded Tahoma one, the brand new one? Yeah, that will probably remain as our official logo.

Let us go off in another tangent and tell you about the XBOXPolis.Com Wiki. Yes, the new home for the xboxpolis.com Community, formally home to the Original XBOXPolis.Com. We can't give much info on this, but we can tell you it will be similar to the whole thing YourEMGN has set up. They have a regular website, but a Wiki for more community-based stuff. Let us also note that when we have the "New XBOXPolis.Com Experience" set up, that we will begin working on the XBOXPolis.Com Wiki around a month later. Since we have to have time to begin working on the NXPE, we really have to take time away from Wetpaint. It should only take about a month or two, and then you'll see the XBOXPolis.Com Wiki running back up, which brings me to my next thing. When XBOXPolis.Com moves, and gets the whole "NXPE" thing, the wiki will be available at wiki.xboxpolis.com , community.xboxpolis.com , and probably nation.xboxpolis.com. No, the links don't work right now, dumbass, but we will have that running when we open XP up (NXPE), and move our domain name to a different location and different host-er as well.

Basically all the news you want. We're providing EVERY single story about the Xbox 360 console that we know and see, and giving it to you via NXPE. The news will be on the site, but all copyrights and stories will definitely be given credit to its rightful owner and creator. We're not plagiarizing, we endorsing, dumbasses.
Extremely enhanced Reviews/Previews. Kinda like what GameSpot has set up for you all, where they've got separate pages for the review, images, videos, prices, etc. Sadly, we will NOT be keeping Cheats and Achievements on the site. This was a hard decision, but these update ever-so often, that we cannot keep up with it. Yet, we will give links out to sites who have cheats and achievements, including GameSpot, IGN, 1UP, G4, etc, which, by the way, will also have it's own page. Expect something of that sort.
Exclusive Pages for Shippin' Out This Week, Top Xbox 360 Games, and more.
External Links, which will mainly feature our blog, Valid Breakdown, and a few more stuff.
Actual User Scores. Unlike what we have now, you'll be able to submit your own score on a Review/Preview, and even articles.
POSSIBLE Player Reviews. This is still in thought, but we are definitely considering having a section where users like you can write reviews on a game, and give your own score and rating.
POSSIBLE ability to share your Xbox LIVE gamertag with the world. We're still looking into this, trying to see if it will be possible, but just keep that thought in the head.
AND AS FARE AS WE KNOW, there will not be a "Members" tab/link at the top. We don't need member lists, we think they're messy (just kidding), but no "members" link. Of course, you WILL be able to join the site, and have a profile (we think), and stuff. Just no Members list, we don't like it, find that on the Wiki. Also, just a reminder, you WILL be able to comment articles, no doubt.

Hey John, What's Your Name Again?
As taking our steps to become a very small, but still partially legit, gaming site, we've decided to add some features that you would be seeing in the "New XBOXPolis.Com Experience," and putting it on our current site, which obviously will become the "XBOXPolis.Com Wiki." Some small stuff, like more news (no news page, sorry), and even separate pages for "Shippin' Out This Week," and "Top Xbox 360 Games." We know it doesn't speak much, but we figured that this is something that we should do. The creation of these pages will be throughout this week.

By the way, expect a review for WET, which came out the today, September 15th, 2009.

We never really fully understood why USKB, which is me (dumbass), decided to create XBOXPolis.Com. But, when I did, I never saw it moving on like this, and I just wanna say, you, as a community, has done nothing for this site, except for visiting it. So, let me make this subcategory short...we're now One whole year old. Yes, one year of completely nothing but nonsense. We probably should have posted this yesterday, but who cares. Anyway, we've made a "Formal" announcement on the site, and we suggest you check it out, and no, we didn't get it off Obama's teleprompter. Trust us, If Barack has problems with that thing, then we'll have a lot bigger problems. How can he even read it? It should only be around 48 font, and when you're 110 inches from it, I don't see how an older guy can read that. Anyway, lets go onto the actually good stuff...

In memorial of the United States Terror attacks on various NE cities, including the World Trade Center terror attack, the Pentagon terror attack, the other Hijacked and crashed airliner, and all the other terror attacks on that day in 2001, which changed America.
We would not rather explain it, and the title says a lot anyway, but we would like to take a moment to pray and remember those who either lost their lives to the terror attacks, or those, who are heroes and helped the people and victims around the NE United States, and sadly lost their lives as well, or was able to survive. Either way, they're all heroes, with no doubts at all. This day changed America, causing a war, which was announced by Congress and 43rd President, George W. Bush, days after the attacks, which was against Iraq, and later started a whole Middle-East operation war, which included Saudi Arabia, and Iran. Soon later, President Bush declared 9/11 to be a memorial every year, which included lowering the flag halfway to salute the terror attacks. The terror attacks killed 3,000+, and leaving 6,300+ injured.

We still pray to this day for the September 11, 2001 attack victims, and even for the survivors. We hope you can find it in your hearts tonight to pray for these people, and thank you.

The delay we announced yesterday.
Yeah, remember our whole "New xboxpolis.com Experience" thing that got delayed? Yeah, we wanna tell you about that. Again. --- We officially decided to delay the release of, pretty much a whole new website. This reveals a LITTLE more pieces to the puzzle of what we're doing, so yeah. We're leaving Wetpaint, as the site of XBOXPolis.Com, and becoming an ad-free (we think), awesome site. It's just a whole new "experience" that we all will enjoy. You'll also find it easier to navigate around, and we'll actually have news. Not just on the homepage....but on the site! Can you believe it? We still can't. Anyway, let not your heart be troubled, we will still be on Wetpaint at the same time. How? Well, I'll give you an example. YourEMGN, a site ran by Madusha, who's VERY well known around the WP Network, has his site, http://youremgn.com/ and his Wiki, which he calls his "Community Site." Well, that's what we'll pretty much be doing. Wetpaint is known for it's community base, and even as we are now, we're not community based. Well, things are changing on that subject. Commenting and Topics (Threads) can be posted on the "NXPE" (as far as we know), but we'd like to run a community site, so everyone who's on the WP Network and just join and start talking to some douchebags like us. From what we see, we'll probably close XBOXPolis.Com for few to several days during the transitions of domain and hosting. Which means, we'll be giving you updates on what's pretty much going on during that small period of time where we're down, via Twitter. After we get the domain forwarding and hosting set-up...set-up, we'll make a formal announcement on our Wetpaint site, which will turn into http://wiki.xboxpolis.com/ and of course, http://xboxpolis.wetpaint.com/

Who Knew Candy Canes were Actually Peppermint?
So, you've maybe noticed our newest section of the site, "Behind the Scenes." BTS, or as many of you douches will call it, BS. Anyway, nothing is really there, but this certain segment brings you into what the f*** you're playing. It's pretty much "advanced" previews; we're pretty much telling you who you are, where you are, what you're doing, and everything in between. Currently, nothing is on it, except for a few little things, and our Sprout widget for the page, which is pretty damn beast.

Release of Halo 3: ODST, it's Short-Film feature, and Modern Warfare 2 Videos
So what? We like talking about two games. Halo 3: ODST, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. So, Halo 3: ODST "drops" into stores September 22nd, 2009, and you bet damn straight I'm buying. No, not for you. Just for me. Anyway, currently, it looks pretty bad-ass, and the graphics look enhanced, nice new weapons and weapon changes, etc. Anyway, just today, IGN released a teaser for a trailer for Halo 3: ODST's short film, which I guess will debut on Bungie.net and IGN. Anyway, it's real life helljumpers (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, ODST) and, well, it's pretty much a sweet short movie, which we would have liked to see if the dubbed Halo movie released. Cool stuff, man. Grunts, Elites and all the other alien things, AKA Covenant. Anyway, we'll have it posted via Twitter and YouTube so you can see it when it releases. In addition to all this mumbo-jumbo, we'd like to finally talk about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Recently, Infinty Ward released it's monthly multiplayer gameplay video, and it was pretty bad-ass. New guns, CTF actually looks cool, blood splatters over the screen, lots of "grenattas" (grenades) and even throwing knives! Yup, throwing knives, which debuted at the end of the video, where they killed fourzerotwo (Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward Community Executive...fourzerotwo on Twitter) and he, well, yeah. Died. It was a cheap kill, knife right to the center of the head, but before he threw the knife, the host left, and the game didn't end. Believe it or not. Obviously, the scene was to show that MW2 will have better host leaving and ending games capabilities, unlike what Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare had, which caused many complaints. So yeah, pre-order this baby. Don't just buy it, good luck getting it on the first day a local GameStop or Best Buy. And you need to get it, this is a game of the year winner, no doubt.

So, the title says it all. This is official, we ARE delaying the so-called "New xboxpolis.com Experience." This was a pretty tough decision, but we have to do it. We've got a little summary for why we are delaying:

We've got no moola, even though it's only moderately expensive
We rather not do it on our birthday, and as well as the day before 9/11.
Late 2009/Early 2010 sounds better.

Like I said, this was a tough decision, but had to be made. Don't worry too much, we are still doing the whole NXPE, but just not on September 10th, 2009, which is only a couple days away. Currently, we only have two possible release dates. One, which is most likely going to happen, will be Late December 2009 to Early January 2010. The second is Late October to Middle November, but this one probably won't happen. We really wanted to do it now, but we'd rather sit back, relax, add the Halo 3: ODST review (comes out September 22nd, 2009) and maybe even the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 review, pending on the release date. We'll probably have the Official release date by the end of this month, at least, and hopefully drop a few more details on the whole "NXPE." We may also have more issues with the template we picked out, because we downloaded it through a file-sharing site, instead of buying it. The site that HAS the template makes you not just pay for it, pay monthly memberships, which are like $40 a month, and good luck getting us that. Anyway, the templates mostly an issue because it may not work, and it's hard to find a really good template, trust me.

On brighter sides of the delay, we'll have a suspense-like release, which means putting out videos via YouTube and giving out some previews of the "NXPE."

Expect a Delay of the New xboxpolis.com Experience.

We've gone through most of the stuff that is coming to the "New xboxpolis.com Experience," and our slated release date is currently September 10th, 2009, which also marks our first year being on the internet. Well, we haven't been able to start working on the NXPE, mostly due to money issues. We would like to be able to open it up on September 10th, 2009, but we may not be able to. These money issues aren't huge, but we may not be able to do it on our selected date. We also put in our birthday celebration, setting up the site, and 9/11 memorial. Birthday celebration will cost us a great amount of time, setting up the site will probably take longer, because we're new to the system, and we really didn't think about a September 11th memorial. Many people will ask "Why? You're a gaming site." Well, we would display a few little memorial things, and we don't want an Huge display of American Flags around the site on our second day of opening the NXPE. Many things happened on September 11th, 2001, and we respect the losses of fellow Americans. 9/11 was also one of the first major attacks in America, ever since the World War II Pearl Harbour attack. Anyway, we still have it planned for release on September 10th, 2009, but don't suprised if there's a delay, which could be up to Late 2009, Early 2010.

So, we're expecting you saw our teaser trailer for the so-called "New xboxpolis.com Experience." Doesn't feature much, just the Xbox 360 start-up intro along with our new logo. After all that nonsense, we featured a graphic stating "The New xboxpolis.com Experience is coming," later followed by, "Be Here. September 10th, 2009." Obviously, this says that we'll pretty much be releasing the so-called "New xboxpolis.com Experience" on our birthday, otherwise dubbed as our first anniversary. What to See in the "New xboxpolis.com Experience."
Well, as much as we don't like showing stuff to fans, we thought we'd give you some info. IT's the New XBOXPolis.com. Yeah, that's right. Pissed you off, bitch. Anywho, we revealed the current release date of September 10th, 2009. As stated before, this is our birthday, or first anniversary of opening XBOXPolis.com in 2008. It's been a successful year, and we decided to treat ourselves with this gift that you don't know, so it's kinda like we're giving a gift to you, when it's not your birthday. Yeah. Anyway, the release date can, and to be honest, probably will since we're already having issues with our host-er, who is not Wetpaint. We're trying to do this shit monthly, at a $6.95 fee, but we still can't learn why we'd be dropping off $168.00 up front. We'll have more updates on this in the future, relating to our stupid currency.

In case you've seen our conversations, Homer101 and I chat publicly via Yoshipedia. The YPA Chatroom can be easily found here, where you can go through all our conversations and what's going on with us. If you're lucky, you might be able to catch us. I leak a lot of shit out, so you can get a pretty good idea of what's coming to the New xboxpolis.com Experience. We plan to have more news, with actual headlines on the site, 360 game reviews/previews, cheats, enhanced features already on XBOXPolis.com, including Shippin' Out This Week, Top 5 of the Day, and Sweet Video page. No for one spoiler I can give out, Homer101 and I may be opening up a used-game store on xboxpolis.com. We still have NO details on it, but this is definitely a possibility, but you won't be seeing a feature of this sort at the beginning of the "New xboxpolis.com Experience." Games would be available through Me (USKB), Homer101 and of course, users. One difference about the store, IF it happens, would be that we'd be selling not just Xbox 360 games, we'd be selling PS3, Wii, DS, XBOX and more. We'd be selling used hardware, and, of course, used games. Like I said, we have no officical details on this, and IT would be hard to do with issues these days and money, this could not even happen. This is just a thought and possibility, which we would maybe like to do.
One Good thing about the "New xboxpolis.com Experience," is that the site will be ad-less (as far as we know). There will be ads, but only from our sponsors, Yoshipedia, Modern Warfare Intel, PS3 ZONE, and Wiilord (if opening, read bottom for more info on possible Wiilord re-opening). Sponsors Will NOT be displayed on Homepage, but we'll have a good-looking page for 'em. We like Yoshipedia's pictures though, because Homer101 makes beastly animated .GIF ads using Adobe Photoshop.

This would be a great opportunity to share what we've done in the past year.

So, in the last post, we lied a few times.

First off, we lied about no updates coming to XP for a while. Sorry, and like 3 days later, we changed the Homepage, which is pretty better now, but I'm not a Huge fan of it.

Second, we WEREN'T Lying about USKB working on an Anti-Health Care Wiki. Obviously, since it had a working link to it, and I was updating the HP at the time, so you should know that already.

Third, this is unrelated. No not that...THIS. We're making our biggest announcement in our existence. It's not bad, so stop crying. This isn't another "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT" topic where I give you all the stuff that's "Coming Soon" even though most of it isn't. This is for real, bitches. The only spoiler I can give you right now is that it's, of course, big, and it's going to be a whole new experience for XBOXPolis.Com and our community.

Another thing to note is a small change to the name. Our "formal" way of spelling "XBOXPolis" will remain the same, but we will advertise ourselves as "xboxpolis," which is un-capitalized. This is another thing that we just wanted to do, but like I said....on most things, we'll be regular old "XBOXPolis.Com" with "XBOXP" in caps. We never really knew why we capitalized "Xbox" because, well, the original XBOX is supposed to spelt that way. Eh, who gives a s***. Just visit us and play some LIVE.

Just remember our birthday is on September 10th, 2009. This marks our first year in existance, and not just that. Wetpaint 500, Wetpaint Golden Paint Can Awards (Nominee/3rd Place) and more. When The XP NATION First Started the site was meant to be a full news site, powered by the owners and moderators of XBOXPolis.Com. The site took off, not fast, but much faster than XBOXPolis.Com did. So, the site was the first other site that was powered by XBOXPolis.Com. This site was supposed to have "Share A Site," a Rumor Control Part, and more. But now, things are changing. The XBOXPolis.Com NATION will move onto XBOXPolis.Com, in a effort to gain popularity for The XP Nation segment, and popularity for XBOXPolis.Com. This also includes an announcement for a new site created by XBOXPolis.com, XP Answers. This site is actually still under construction, and is looking good so far. But, these this site [XP NATION] will no longer remain on another ground. It will now move to their creator site, XBOXPolis.Com, in hope to gain popularity. The XP NATION are no closer to popularity than Oprah is to me, which is not good. Anyway, this is what will happen in the next month or two. A merge of The XBOXPolis.Com NATION and XBOXPolis.Com will happen in the course of between July 27th, 2009 through August 15th, 2009. One question is what is XP Answers? XBOXPolis Answers is a site created not to long ago, but hasn't been released by XBOXPolis.Com yet. This was a plan in the near future, but then we thought about getting the XP NATION away from us.

In case you don't know, The XP NATION was a Xbox 360 news-only rounded site.

XBOXPolis Answers was a site for the community to answer questions about their Xbox 360 needs, PC Needs, Macintosh needs, and iPod/iPhone needs. It was like Yahoo! Answers, but relevant to Xbox 360 gaming.

All segments of The XP NATION will come to XBOXPolis.Com, including Share a Site, Rumor Control, and more news.

Okay, so. We've got a new blog. It's called "Valid Breakdown." It displays our thoughts on video games that drives us insane. A lot of things drives us insane, but this is mainly about video games. Unlike our reviews on XBOXPolis.Com, we point out the really sh**ty stuff that gives you some real thoughts on the game. So, we hope you enjoy[1]. We've got our pretty logo for it, a kick ass banner, which includes 3 pictures of kids freaking out. The first one, which is in the middle, features the kid from "Biggest Freak Out Ever, the Aftermath." This kid's brother took video of him in his room, of course when he didn't know, after his mom canceled his World of Warcraft account. This kid is completely insane, and there are bunches of sequels you can turn your eyes to. Second, on the far left, is an image that's not very visible when just kinda looking at the banner. You have to look closely, because it features the remake of the video "Nintendo 64 Freak Out" where kids got an N64 for Christmas. And, when I paused the video to take a screenshot, a pop up appeared on the video, annotation or whatever it's called, and it says "We Can Play Mario!" Pretty funny, actually. And last, but not least is a picture of a kid playing Halo 3. Of course, this kid is partially insane, and he is yelling and cursing into the microphone. This is a great pic I took, so look at it. It's on the far right. Anyway, well...that's it.

UPDATE: Please Note That I Will Continue Updating XBOXPolis.Com until I leave for Indiana, not a lot though, and when I get internet up there, I should be able to start updates, but depending on how long it takes for unpacking.

We've got some info that concerns you...I guess.

What's going on?
Nothing special, I'm actually moving to Indiana, away from my current home town, Cape Coral, Florida. I'd like to announce that I'm allowing any updates to XBOXPolis.Com, except to the homepage, which I should be able to update once a week. I'll give you the latest updates on Twitter, via mobile. This includes the XBOXPolis.Com Twitter and my own personal Twitter, @H2oDAG. Hopefully we'll be able to get more updates on other pages, besides the homepage, from our moderators soon. Also, to all the hard-working moderators out there, I hope that you'll understand that due to computer / browser issues and tables, I'd like you all NOT to edit the homepage, which I have stated earlier that moderators cannot edit the homepage anyway, unless given permission, which was from a message sent by me to all the mods. Anyway, sorry, but I gotta get out of my house in like 2 weeks, and get all the crap to Indiana with no moola. Speaking of moola, President Obama is trying to get congress to sign a 1 TRILLION dollar bill, which would pretty much enable Universal Health Care for the United States, which...well yeah. Universal Heath Care sucks. I won't go into any further detail than that.

When Will You Be Back, You Bastard?
That my friend could be up to 2-3 weeks, but most likely a month and a week. This all depends WHEN I can get internet access, which is a very fun ordeal.

Why Indiana?
We chose there because we have friends that have, and still live there. We also know that the prices and costs, like property tax, etc. is cheaper, which is what we need.

Discussions Have Been Taken Off The Homepage!
I would call this a "BETA Feature," but it's not worth it. We contacted Wetpaint, and all discussions have been removed from the homepage, and it's now impossible to add a thread on the homepage. We hoped you enjoy(1)ed it while it lasted. Any new releases will be in news, and release discussions will be added to the discussion forum.

Also, another update is that ALL the Latest Inside Gaming videos are in the news section. Listed by the latest publish, all of 'em are there, straight from YouTube. We plan to use the video part of our site just for non-subscription videos, such as trailers, funny 360 vids from YouTube, and maybe Arby 'n' the Chief, because it comes out less often then Inside Gaming or any Machinima series.

Who needs you when we got BETA fishes? Well, as a new tank for those aggressive little parasites like you guys, we decided to put on a new Adobe Flash Playing widget, created by XBOXPolis.Com and meant for your mom. No, we've been looking for a free EMBEDable service, and we finally found one after like a year. Well, took me about 5-6 hours, but kinda worth it. It's not currently the best, and we are looking to speed up the performance and change the look a little every now and then, but enjoy it. It's the exact same thing as the one we got on XP before, except we "adobe'd" it like GameSpot.Com has it. Enjoy. You can also embed it on your site, MySpace bulliten, Facebook wall, Twitter- whatever it. Enjoy (again).

Well, Mr. I Like Men, we've been working on a new community project for ya'll, so don't get pissy. We don't wanna reveal much, but I'll give you this: CAKB knows about it, CurseShooter is helping me out w/ it in the near future (they're not gonna reveal it, idiot), and we've been trying to get GoDaddy to not give us some Ghetto Freak that will actually give us some information, not a copy+paste from the GoDaddy support with a little cute summary with them. Well, first. Settle down, we know you left your mom at our house, bit**. Anyway, we lied. We don't like you all now, so we kinda just let our post go with tha flow. So, no. We're gonna be working on a review for Battlefield 1943, which is available on the Xbox 360 arcade for like 1200 Microsoft Points. It could be either tomorrow (or today. Whatever time it is) or the next day. We also plan to maybe put a preview up for "The Dora the Explorer: Princess Diaries" in the extreme near future.
No, according to our sources, USKB (Me) just said we're doing Bioshock 2, which was just delayed (haha) and or NCAA Football 2010. I really hate NCAA games, but we'll do it.

We Lose The Golden Paint Can Awards 2009
All thanks to your worthless votes, we gained a huge achievement by getting into the 2009 Wetpaint Golden Paint Can Awards. And, thanks to all the people who didn't vote for us, we got third place. Not bad, but it's not first dumbass. So, next year. We Get in Wetpaint 500 in at least 435, and we get in the 2010 Golden Paint Can Awards. Listen, we only got Three nominations to get into the awards in the first place. I think we can get like 5 more, and we're in. Our concern is the possible cheating of Lost Chaos. We'll see some nice controversy in the future, I can tell you that much. Well, thanks for nothing! Or, thanks everyone who voted for XP under Gaming Gurus in the 09 WP Golden Paint Can Awards. Yeah, lets go with the second one.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. WTF?
Yes, Infinity Ward has finally lost their minds. They cannot decide which is better. Just "Modern Warfare 2" or stay with "Call of Duty" because it for some reason attracts buyers (proven fact) and gets da moola to IW. As a Inside Gaming report says: "NO SHIT. WE DO IT FOR THA MONEY." We found this out thanks to fourzerotwo, AKA: Robert Bowling. He released the "official boxshot" pic, with his hand on it (why?). And, it had the beloved "Call of Duty" logo on the top left of the original Modern Warfare 2 logo. As much as I was disappointed when the Call of Duty logo wasn't bigass like it usually is, we went to our own sexy analyst for details. CurseShooter. Here's what he had to say:

"On Wednesday, July 8th, 2009, my Xbox 360 console had been cursed with the Red Rings of Death. Like a scared little boy, I turned off the Xbox 360, and restarted it. Believe it or not...It came on the Dashboard! Screaming and rejoicing, I leave the room in pride. So, later that day...I try turning on my Xbox 360 for kicks, I didn't plan to play it. And the Red Rings show up once more. From that point on, the Xbox was shot. Funny thing is, my friends Xbox 360 got Red Rings a month ago, and now just got it back, but anyway, Microsoft lost his Xbox 360 in their own repair factory. Nice job idiots. Anyway, long story short, I sent my Xbox 360 in today, and we hope to see it back under my TV in the horizontal position, with GREEN RINGS, and Call of Duty 4 in there playing Border Patrol." -USKB

The Story::
On June 21st, 2009, XBOXPolis.Com was announced a nominee for Gaming Gurus in the 2009 Golden Paint Can Awards. At the beginning, we took and lost leads, but after 3 days, "Lost Chaos" (which is actually Last Chaos, but I refer to it as "Lost Chaos") somehow gained first with over 800 Votes. How is this possible? Don't Ask Me. Anyway, LittleBigPlanet Guide, who should have won if we didn't win, had the good, decent lead before Lost Chaos somehow gained a humongous lead, and clinched the category. Well, that's really it, except we got Third Place in the Community Vote, and we still have high hopes to get the Judges Choice Award, or maybe a By The Numbers award (Which I, USKB, could actually win). Well, Thanks for voting For XBOXPolis.Com, and we hope to be in the 2010 Golden Paint Can Awards and future Wetpaint 500 spots!

Arguments Come Up At The Awards, Starcrap Keeps Runnin' in Votes, XP Stays in third, and Only one person likes us in South America!
XBOXPolis.Com, as you know, made the Wetpaint Golden Paint Can Awards 2009 under the category of Gaming Gurus. Well, much more happened today at the forums than the voting. Around 90 replies came today, most from Catnip's threads, proving that some people aren't worth crap. We come down to details with this people! Arguments and more sprouted from about only 4 members, and of course...I got in the middle of them all. Well, yesterday, I interrupted a thread, that kinda pissed off Catnip, a dear friend on Wetpaint. I apologized, even though we both kinda thought he got a little irritated by just my one post, which he gladly accepts, and apologized for it. Anyway, well, some person tried to defend what I didn't need. He was all like "you don't gotta be so mean to uskb" and Catnip was all like "well, it's my thread, and he shouldn't de-rail it!" and he's all like "STFU!" then I come in, and I'm all like "LOL!" Anyway, more jerks came up, and were shut off by me with my big long posts and big words, so it kinda left them speechless. Anyway, we're keeping the consistent votes to stay in third, but we're nearing LittleBigPlanet, and of course...StarCrap keeps it runnin' in first. XP Moves On Down To Third, Somehow Lost Planet Guide Gets 700 Votes in One Day on Day 2
XBOXPolis.Com, as you know, made the Wetpaint Golden Paint Can Awards 2009 under the category of Gaming Gurus. At around 88 Votes for XP On June 23rd, 2009, we fell down to third place. "How?" you say? Oh, easy. The votes might* be spammed because with only about 96 votes yesterday, we've got no idea how 700 votes in one day comes for ONE CHOICE. Overall, the other polls rate around 300-600 today. The only one who got around 800 was Anime (Around 900 Votes) and the three T.V. Categories. I'm not saying they cheated, but hey. Well, I'm currently working on a site known as VolSic. The site is to have coverage around entertainment, movies, gaming (from XBOXPolis.Com), television, sports and more. The site is FAR off from done...so you'll have to wait. You'll see more about this in future posts.

We were working on a mobile site in the past month for gaming videos, but we're having technical difficulties. Right now, we might make this blog accessable for mobile phones & iPod touch's.

Just thought I'd make a post about our new BETA reviews. The new look gives us more images, a larger boxshot, and just a much sleeker design. Currently, the BETA reviews are only on Guitar Hero Smash Hits & UFC 2009: Undisputed, but much more are coming in the near future. XP+Facebook::
Wetpaint has made a brand-new update, enabling you to sign into Wetpaint with your Facebook account and password. This feature is only available for sites where you can sign up and edit right away. Well, XP is not available for joining and editing. This is a problem, I'm thinking of changing. I'm not sure when I'll make the decision, but I will update you on this immediately if it changes.

The XP NATION::
Recently, we had launched a site called The XP NATION, a similar site to FOX News' newly released site, The FOX Nation. The site is now XBOXPolis.Com's news provider. Just letting you know that the site is accessible at http://nation.xboxpolis.com/ (WITHOUT THE WWW.) and at http://www.xpnation.wetpaint.com/

New Site::
USKB is currently working on a brand-new site, non-gaming related. There's not much on it, or much to reveal, but be ready for the release!

The Linked Company is now...::
XP is currently owned and processed by The Linked Company, who is now changing their name to: Asterisk*, due to the popularity of the XP. The company has created various sites, including XP, the XP NATION & the new site USKB is working on. Previous sites include: U.S Knows Best, iDig, & Coksi. All are available to this day, but not editing. A new site will be available soon.

Well, I am really trying to get those reviews and previews in quick. That's all I can really say right now, but as the 1st Annual January Marathon was a great deal of fun for me, gigitty, I promise you next year will be better, with different dates, and being updated daily, which we have been trying to keep up with. In case you don't know I currently have to do a history fair project, as does Owensanchez, but I've been trying to get to XP in my free time. Besides me & Owensanchez, Our preview and full coverage of Windows 7 is coming soon. I really can't guareentee when the full coverage will be up, but I hope by Friday the 30th will be at the latest. In Case you haven't noticed, all of our new pictures are featuring a new font class, Tahoma. The XBOXPolis logo, which uses the "Ariel" font, will NOT be using this font class. But, everything else will feature Tahoma, and you can see it on the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Review of the WEEK ad, the Grand Theft Auto IV page & the Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost & Damned Page. I only did this because I was bored.

When we realized we broke the Xbox.Com's Terms of Use, We had to delete everything on the LIVE pages. Now, we just opened the first page, introducing LIVE with some helpful instructions. The other four pages will be up shortly. Those other pages are the LIVE Marketplace, LIVE Memberships, About Multiplayer Gaming, & Videos, T.V. Shows & Netflix. USKB: With the holiday season coming up, XP is most likely able to get a domain in January, a little earlier than expected. XP would try to get it on January 1st, 2009, just so its easier to calculate. We would either be looking on Godaddy.com or Yahoo! depending on prices. We will not reveal the domain (because if someone reads this, they might take it!) but we are looking for a 3 Year-4 Year contract. If the domain goes through, the link WILL change. The Logo for XP has changed a bit. Instead of just "XBOXPolis: News Previews Reviews Videos Games & More," we now have it simple, in a smaller size. The circle around "XP" & the two XBOX logod will be thinner. Under it, it will have our motto,"This is what we're about." The motto also appears under the smaller (just "XP" W/the 2 XBOX logos) XP logo.
